Childcare Bathroom & Nappy-Change Cleaning in Melbourne
What your agreed scope can include
- Toilets, basins, taps and accessible bathroom fixtures
- Accessible nappy-change surfaces and surrounding benches
- Door handles, flush controls and other agreed touch points
- Bathroom floors and visible build-up within the scheduled scope
- Bins emptied to the centre's designated waste point
Between-use care stays with the centre
A scheduled contractor visit does not replace cleaning after a nappy change, during an accident or when a surface is visibly soiled. Your educators follow the centre's nappy-changing, hand hygiene and incident procedures during operating hours. Agree who handles each task so an evening clean is not mistaken for continuous coverage.
Keep bathroom equipment separate
Discuss dedicated bathroom equipment, the order of work and where used materials are kept. Products and methods must suit the surface and your centre's procedures; any disinfectant needs the manufacturer's directions, including contact time, to be followed. Routine cleaning and specialist outbreak response are not interchangeable.
Set access, waste and reporting arrangements
Tell us the number of toilets and change stations, occupied rooms, bin arrangements and any surface damage. Confirm whether supplies are provided by the centre and how low stock, leaks or damaged change mats are reported. Repairs and replenishment are not assumed to be part of a cleaning quote.
Plan the whole centre, not just one room
Combine these tasks with scheduled daily childcare cleaning and agree separate periodic deep cleaning where needed. Use our room-by-room checklist to allocate responsibilities.
Read planning cleaning responsibilities around nappy changes. Check Melbourne service areas, then request a quote with your room count, operating hours and priorities.
